5.19.23 COVID-19 Public health emergency ended

As of May 11th, 2023, both the federal and state COVID-19 Public Health Emergencies have ended. However, dental offices can still choose to enact their own policies for COVID. While masks are optional for patients and visitors, we will continue our safety protocol until further notice.

Additionally, with the end of the public health emergency, community transmission levels will no longer be tracked by the CDC. If rising levels become a risk, then we will alert patients of any changes to our COVID office policies.

With a significant change in COVID case tracking, the protection of vaccines and booster shots, and a relaxation of policies and restrictions, the community transmission levels will be tracked for Middlesex County here: Middlesex Community Transmission Levels. As of now, we are at a MEDIUM transmission risk.

Future updates with mask policies will be determined based on such transmission levels, as recent CDC and Massachusetts mask policies have changed.
